The first flower of spring.
I love seeing the beautiful Snowdrops in little gatherings across the forest floor. They foretell an end to winter, the beginning of spring, warmer weather and longer days. For all these reasons they are one of my favourite flowers as they embody anticipation.
Snowdrops are the guardians of spring. We have a prize in our family for the first person to spot a Snowdrop each year though garden centre sightings don’t count!
